John began his career in the employee benefits industry at Unum’s home office, where he developed a comprehensive foundation by working across multiple disciplines. During his time there, he gained hands-on experience in underwriting, claims management, actuarial analysis, and marketing and sales. This well-rounded exposure provided him with a deep understanding of the full lifecycle of employee benefit programs and the key drivers behind effective plan design and delivery.

Over the course of his 30-year career in the insurance industry, John has established himself as a proven leader and trusted mentor. He has cultivated strong, long-standing relationships with leading insurance carriers, enabling him to effectively advocate for his clients. These relationships play a critical role in negotiating competitive rates and facilitating the efficient and fair resolution of claims, ensuring clients receive maximum value from their benefit programs.

In his current role as President of All Atlantic Benefits, John, with partners Veronica and Brandon, has led the agency through consistent year-over-year growth, an achievement they find both rewarding and motivating. He firmly believes the firm’s independence is a key differentiator, allowing the team to remain fully accountable to their clients rather than to shareholders. This client-first philosophy continues to drive the company’s success and long-term relationships.

Outside of his professional life, John enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife, Marcia, reside in Lighthouse Point, where they cherish time with their loved ones, especially their grandsons, TJ, and Xander.
